Department of Education Secretary Leonor Briones said photos that shows teachers climbing atop the roof of their school just to get an internet signal was a ‘fake’. In an interview with “The Chiefs” on One News/TV 5, Secretary Briones said the photos were circulated to highlight problems for online learning.
“On the day of the school (opening) itself, there were fake photos that circulated,” Secretary Briones said
“It was clear that they were posing. They looked like they are part of a chorus line, raising their hands at the same time, looking at the camera and fully made up,” added the Secretary.
“And also in that town, ang daming cell sites. Ang daming malalaking cell sites. Kasi sabi walang ano, connectivity. Kung walang connectivity paano napadala ‘yong mga photos na ‘yon?” ended Sec. Briones.
