Megastar Sharon Cuneta expressed her thoughts and opinions on marrying at an early age after she was asked to send a message to her ‘younger self’.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Sharon answered some questions from her fans and followers. One netizen asked her “if you could send a message to your younger self in only 2words, what would they be?” To which Sharon answered “marry later.”

Sharon elaborated as she said “it’s hard to call it a mistake because it gave me a child. But I wouldn’t have married so early. I would’ve enjoyed my single blessedness first for a long time. I would’ve travelled more. Probably, I don’t know if I would’ve had the chance to study abroad like the original plan was. Dapat finishing school ako sa Switzerland.”
She added “hindi natuloy dahil biglang nagka movie career and I enjoyed it so. It made me happy. It turned out to be my calling. And what would I change? Yun lang siguro. Although I was very happy when I found out that I was pregnant with her because we were secretly married and I was tired of hiding from my parents so…. Yun, I wouldn’t have hurried.”
