Netizens reacted to the new sentimental Christmas ad released by Disney for the children’s charity Make-A-Wish. The three-minute advert titled “From Our Family To Yours,” is inspired by the themes of traditions, family togetherness and nostalgia. The video focuses on the relationship between a Filipino grandmother and her granddaughter.
The story started in 1940, as the grandmother received a Mickey Mouse toy for Christmas when she was still a child. Fast forward to 2005, the grandmother or lola passed on the toy for her grand daughter. The popular ‘parol’ was also featured on the said video.
