Actress Nikki Valdez underwent hand surgery and was discharged from the hospital. It is not clear why Nikki needed to undergo hand surgery, Nikki simply said it could have been worse and it might take time for her hand to fully recover.
On her Instagram account, Nikki thanked everyone for the outpouring of love, her husband, family and friends and most of all – God.
Here is her message:
“Today, I came home with a grateful heart. 🥺🥺🥺 Much worse could have happened but here I am alive and in one piece (may kamay na bakal lang nga 😅 but all good!!). It may take time for a full recovery but I will be diligent in doing everything to feel better. 💪🏼
Thank you to everyone who reached out and sent get well soon messages and encouragement. I must admit, I have been feeling down since the accident happened. The last thing I want is maging pabigat sa mga taong nakapaligid sa akin kaya ang sama ng loob ko sa nangyari. Kaya thank you sa inyong lahat na nagparamdam ng malasakit. 💕💕💕
To our neighbors who helped and administered first aid, thank you. To my doctors and nurses (both at the ER, OR and post OP), salamat po sa pag alaga to make sure everything went well.
