Lorin Gutierrez, stunning daughter of actress Ruffa Gutierrez decided to not have a lavish 18th birthday celebration because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a virtual media conference as the new artist of Viva Artist Agency, Lorin was asked about her plans on her upcoming 18th birthday. According to Lorin, she doesn’t have any plans on the said special occasion. However, Lorin shared that she doesn’t want to have a lavish celebration because of the pandemic.
“Honestly now, wala pang plans. I had a pretty big 16th birthday. Parang na-experience ko na yung malaking party setting kasi I had that for my 16th. And again the pandemic made me realize what’s really important to me, what I value in my life.” Lorin shared.
“It seems unfair to have such a lavish celebration at this time in our world when so many people are suffering. I feel like, ayaw ko namang maging insensitive. I would rather spend my 18th birthday just with the closest people to me while also giving back to those in need. That’s what I rather do po.” Lorin added.
