ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak gave an emotional speech during the contract signing of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 for the airing of “It’s Showtime” on GTV.
Executives of both networks were present to witness the historic contract signing.
“Pagkatapos po naming i-launch ang “Unbreak My Heart,” hindi po namin naisip na magkakaroon ng kasunod kaagad ang aming partnership with GMA.” started Katigbak.
“Nung nabalitaan namin na gustong ilipat ang timeslot ng Showtime, tinawagan namin si Annette para pag-usapan ang posibilidad na mabigyan ng bagong tahanan ang aming programa. And after that, in just less than two weeks, we were again welcomed into your network.” Katigbak added.
“Sa pagtanggap niyo sa Showtime at sa pagyakap niyo muli sa ABS-CBN. Thank you for your kindness, GMA.” Katigbak said.
“Lahat po ito ay para sa inyo, mga Madlang People. Natutuwa kami na tuloy ang saya tuwing tanghali, na magkakasama muli ang mga Kapuso at Kapamilya sa Showtime.” ended Katigbak.
