ABS-CBN Corporation formally announced the closure of ABS-CBN Tulong Center effective this month. This was brought about by the failure of the network to secure a new franchise from Congress. The unit under ABS-CBN Integrated Public Service will not be able to continue its function given the circumstances.
Founded in 2014, ABS-CBN Tulong Center has helped children and adults needing medical treatment, parents and workers asking for legal advice, and even overseas Filipino workers in need of assistance from abusive employers.
