Actress Alessandra De Rossi slammed netizens who criticized her after she expressed her opinion regarding the Manila Bay ‘white sand’ improvement project.
In her Twitter account, Alessandra reacted to the new project of Department of Environment of Natural Resources (DENR) putting ‘white sand’ in Manila Bay. She tweeted “Pakibilis-bilisan naman ang paglatag ng white sand sa Manila Bay para sa mental health ng lahat. Baka sakaling wala nang magutom dahil busog na sa view. #ayudaparamasa”

The said tweet earned various reactions from netizens. One netizen criticized her and said “Mga bobo! Naka allocate na ang budget nyan wala pang covid.. Kaya nga hini hearing pa ang budget kasi di yan mababago… Buti nga ang gobyerno tuloy tuloy trabaho kahit my pandemic…” To which Alessandra answered “Sorry na po! Kaninang umaga pa yan. Nagbago na po ang pananaw ko! I’m not bobo, woke na ako!”

Another netizen told Alessandra “mam nka allocate napo yang budget last year pa po 🤦♀️” To which she reacted “Ako din. Naka-allocate din lahat for 2020! But I moved all my shoots to 2021 because I cannot risk the lives of others. Pandemic eh. For now, unahin ko dapat kong unahin. Saka na yung alulod namin. Tulungan natin mga taong nangangailangan. Magtulungan tayo! Kung sino may budget!”

Alessandra added “Nasira din lahat ng pansarili kong plano ko dahil sa covid noh. Pero, sya talaga ang dapat asikasuhin for me. Wala akong ibang dasal kundi mapabuti lahat, walang magkasakit at mamatayan at magutom. Pero okay naman ako kainin yung white sand. Basta okay ang lahat.”
