Actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga admitted in her recent video that she and her family got infected with the COVID-19 virus. Alex said she was informed that she is COVID-19 positive and started feeling sad and unwell. Alex was emotional while narrating her COVID-19 journey.
Alex said the experience made her changed of her plans. Each family went into their respective rooms and had themselves quarantine. Alex also admitted her boyfriend Mikee Morada was also infected. The family of her sister Toni Gonzaga were tested negative.
“this week alam niyo madaming nagtatanong sakin kung bakit hindi pa ako lumalabas sa ‘Lunch Out Looud’. Hindi ako nagpapakita sa show for two weeks it’s because nagka COVID po ako and thank God ako ay naka-survive. Actually the whole family. Nagkaruon po ng outbreak dito saameng bahay.” said Alex.
“sisimulan ko yan sa may kasamahan kame dito…. na nag craving so before nag IG story ako kasi ito yung na re-realize ko na I really have to pause my life because nagkaruon kame ng outbreak talaga ng COVID dito sa bahay. Nagkaruon ako ng tweet din nuon na medyo nagalit ako talaga parang out of frustration kasi nga nakuha namen siya out of pagkain sa labas. Which is naiintindihan ko naman. Nagyaya siya, nawala lang siya ng ilang hours pagbalik niya, siguro dun niya nakuha yung COVID.” added Alex.
It has been 3 weeks since they got the virus and the good news is they all have recovered.
On her Instagram post, Alex posted the following:
“New VLOG about my COVID journey. As a family of positivity 3 weeks ago, Magaling na po kami lahat ‘wag po kayo mag-alala. At nahawa lang po kami ng isa sa kasamahan namin and my parents have been very careful all this time kaya nalungkot lang ako.”
