Kapuso actress Alice Dixson finally broke her silence as she addressed the criticisms that she got over her gown during the recent GMA Gala Night.
It can be recalled that recently, netizens expressed mixed reactions over the canary yellow gown of Alice when she attended the recent GMA Thanksgiving Gala that was held at Shangri-La The Fort.
In her Instagram account, Alice expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she addressed the bashing that she received. According to Alice, she searched and looked up what is the meaning of ‘Formal Black and White event’.
Alice also slammed her bashers as she appealed for them not to be judgmental. Alice wrote on her post:
“It has come to my attention na may mga nagalit 😡 nainis 😤 nag ba-bash 🤬 tungkol sa lovely bright @gakuyabykimgan canary yellow gown ko na suot ko noong #GMAThanksgivingGala #GMAGalaNight At ang sabi pa daw, ay gate crasher pa ang dating ko, at nasira ko ang magandang preparation ng gala; really??! 🤷🏻♂️

For me (and I also looked it up ha!) ang isang Formal Black and White event is simply that,
a formal event. + No where on any of my invitations that I received (attached) did it say you could only wear black and white!
So I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings or sensibilities.
I honestly thought I accomplished what was needed for the night:
✅ give thanks
✅ mingle and meet my colleagues and the bosses
✅ and have fun
