Fans and followers of actress and vlogger Andi Eigenmann expressed their admiration as she organized an ‘ukay-ukay’ setup to help improve their health center in Siargao.
In her latest YouTube vlog titled ‘A Week In Our Island Life!’, Andi showed how she, her daughter Ellie and their friends sorted out their pre-loved clothes. According to Andi, they are going to sell their old clothes in an ‘ukay-ukay’ setup and all the earnings will be donated for the improvement of their health center in Siargao.
“Ang tagal ko nang gustong magkaron ng purpose yun mga pre-loved clothes namin. Alam ko na maraming ibang makikinabang and of course it’s better for the environment if I can see na na-pass on ko siya. But then, syempre, nahiya naman ako magbenta.” Andi shared.
“But then my good friend Marja setup a fundraiser with Isla Medical Foundation in order to improve our health center and daycare and ayun so naisip ko na para hindi naman sayang ang mga binayad ng mga locals, sakanila ko na rin ibabalik yung naibigay nila.”
“Kaya ilalagay natin sa health center yung earnings. Yung 100% of the earnings para makatulong naman diba? And maka-help na ma-provide yung mga kulang na materials and na mas pagandahin at ayusin pa yun health center namin dito.” Andi added.
