Actress Angel Locsin and fiancee Neil Arce revealed to everyone how their relationship started. Like some love stories, Angel and Neil started out as friends. Angel remembered that Neil went to her house by the invitation of Paolo Paraiso and joined a camping session where a group called ‘Ampalaya Anonymouse were there. They were called such because all of them are bitter.
“Oo. Marami talaga. First time ko siyang nakita pumunta siya sa bahay ko. Actually, ‘yung grupo namin, grupo ng mga brokenhearted. Nagkaroon kami ng grupo nu’n ang pangalan Ampalaya Anonymous kasi lahat kami mga bitter.” said Angel.
“Ininvite ako ni Paolo Paraiso sa bahay niya. Tapos pagdating ko du’n, may camping site. Sabi ko, ‘Mag-cacamping dito sa Don Antonio?’ tapos sabi ko, kanya-kanyang trip subukan natin. After nun halos araw-araw na kami magkakasama ng mga time na ‘yun,” Neil said.
That’s how their friendship started and they have remained friends for seven years. They got so close that Neil will even ask Angel to set him up with a date with other girls.
“Yes, ako ‘yung taga-setup ng mga girls niya or takbuhan niya ‘pag may problema siya. Ganu’n din ako sa kanya. ‘Pag kailangan ko ng alam mo ‘yun, sensible kausap, siya ‘yung takbuhan ko nu’n,” Angel admitted.
“After nung seven years na bro talaga kami at takbuhan namin ‘yung isa’t-isa, at marami kaming experience na tagahabol ng girlfriend, tagahabol ng boyfriend, tagaayos ng problema, sumbungan ganyan, umabot kami sa point na hindi na namin pwedeng kausapin ang isa’t-isa kasi yung taong ikekwento namin ay yung isa’t-isa.” narrated Angel.
