Actress Angel Locsin said in a comment that revoking the licence of the teacher who body-shamed her is not necessary. A teacher created a Department of Education module that depicted Angel as someone who is an ‘obese person.’ Netizens reacted to the said module and commented that it is inappropriate and disrespectful.
Some suggested that the license of the teacher should be revoked for what had happened.
Angel for her part said revoking the license will not help and is not necessary. “hindi naman kailangang umabot sa ganun” said Angel.
