Actress Angel Locsin opened up about her mental health as she revealed that she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety.
Angel featured the topic of mental health in the latest episode for her ABS-CBN show titled “Iba ‘Yan”. One of her guests was the founder of Anxiety and Depression Support Group in Baguio City, Ricky Lucas Jr.
Ricky shared that he was a fan of Angel as he said “kayo po yung epitome for women, strong women. Idol po namen kayo.” To which Angel opened up about her mental health.
“yun yung image ko talaga sa mga tao diba. Yung strong. Makakatulong ba if sabihin ko na na-diagnose din ako ng depression and anxiety?” said Angel.
“Yeah. Pero strong woman ako. Hangang ngayon strong woman ako. I have that condition and hindi siguro alam ng tao kasi wala naman nagtatanong eh. Pero na-diagnose din ako nun, pero I’m strong. So don’t worry, kung feeling mo ay alone ka diyan sa nararamdaman mo, marami tayo.” Angel added.
