Actress Angel Locsin can’t help but react over the statement made by President Rodrigo Duterte regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The President was trying to encourage the people not to be scared of the virus as there are far more bigger problems the country is facing.
In her Instagram story, Angel posted the statement of Pres. Duterte quoted by ABS-CBN News.
“Do not despair. Kaya natin ito COVID na ito. Maliit na bagay ito sa buhay natin. Marami tayong dinaanan mas ano, mas grabe, mas mahirap, mas magluluha kayo… Lahat kayo ‘wag kayong matakot.” Pres. Duterte said according to ABS-CBN News.
It appeared that the statement of Pres. Duterte left a bad impression to Angel as she reacted and wrote:
“Maliit na bagay? Baka po sa inyo, Sir. Para sa amin po kasi malaki.
Malaking utang. Malaking taas ng cases. Malaking human rights violations.”
