Actress Angel Locsin slammed her fellow artists for remaining silent after 70 lawmakers from the House of Representatives rejected ABS-CBN’s application for a new franchise. Due to the decision, the network is now implementing a retrenchment program that resulted to workers losing their jobs.
During the noise barrage last July 18, 2020 (Saturday), Angel called on other celebrities who has remained silent despite the recent development.

“Sa mga kasamahan kong artistang di nagsasalita. Ano? May career pa ba kayo? Wala na, wala na kayong network.” said Angel.
“Sa mga kasamahan kong artistang hindi nagsasalita, wala na kayong network. Kahit magpa-cute kayo sa instagram, magsend kayo ng mga sad face, hindi niyo nadadamayan ang mga katrabaho niyo na dahilan kung bakit kayo sumikat.” added Angel.
“Pinatay nila ang mga taong dapat protektahan nila, ang mga taong bumoto sa kanila.” ended Angel.
