Actress Angel Locsin thanked Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla for speaking and standing for women like her (Angel), Liza Soberano and Catriona Gray who was tagged as communist ‘supporters’ and sympatizers. Remulla took to her Facebook his opinion about the said incident:
A portion of it reads:
“Ako ay nababahala sa “Red Tagging” operations na isinasagawa ng ilang sangay ng Sandatahang Lakas ng Republika ng Pilipinas.
Bukod sa pananakot ay ni-red tag pa bilang “Communist Supporters” o sympathizers ang mga prominenteng personalidad tulad nina Angel Locsin, Liza Soberano at Catriona Gray.
Kahit si Isko Moreno Domagoso ay dinamay na rin.”

On Instagram, Angel thanked Remulla for his post and issued the following statement:
