Singer actress Angeline Quinto revealed that she was tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Angeline admitted in her vlog that she took the RT-PCR test after being exposed to someone who was tested positive for the virus, and the result is she was also positive.
In her vlog titled “My Covid-19 Journey”, Angeline was a bit emotional as she detailed how she got the infection.
“Kahapon po nagpa RT-PCR test ako, medyo may nararamdaman talaga akong hindi tama nu’ng mga nakaraang araw. Parang nag-e-LBM ako, parang akong nilalagnat ganyan eh hindi naman yun normal ho sa akin lalo madalas ho akong nagpupunta ng trabaho.
Dumating na nga po yung resulta nung Red Cross. Nakakalungkot kasi nag-positive po ako sa Covid. Ito pa naman yung lagi kong sinasabi sa mga katrabaho ko mga kaibigan ko lagi kayo mag-iingat. Parang this time sarili ko yata yung hindi ko naingatan,” said Angeline.
“Natataranta ako, natatakot ako para din sa mga katrabaho ko, para sa lahat ng kasama ko dito sa bahay na baka dahil sa hindi pagiingat…Hay Lord, yun lang, sana maging maayos po ang lahat.” Angeline added.
Angeline also added that she lost her taste and smell, and has remained isolated in her room as a precaution and following health protocols.
On her Instagram account, Angeline posted the following:
“I was very cautious. Pero siguro dahil na din po sa pagod, without knowing it naging pabaya ako protecting myself. I’ve been tested positive for Covid19 and the only thing I can do is to pick-up myself and be very careful not to infect other people, and then protect and heal myself.
Let me share you the first 7 days of my fight against Covid 19.🙏🙏”
