Angeline officially graduated from Immaculada Concepcion College in Caloocan City, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Marketing Management.
“Sa kabila ng puyat at pagod… kinaya,” she later reflected on social media. It was a candid admission that this wasn’t an honorary title handed to a celebrity; it was a degree paid for in the currency of sheer effort.
Every graduation has its anchor—the deep-seated reason why a person endures the late nights. For Angeline, that anchor has always been her late adoptive mother, Sylvia “Mama Bob” Quinto, who passed away in November 2020.
As Angeline donned her graduation gown, she wore a small pin featuring a photo of herself and Mama Bob. It was a poignant piece of symbolism. Though her mother wasn’t there to watch her from the audience, Angeline carried her onto the stage, fulfilling a quiet vow made years ago.
“My angel in heaven, this is the moment I wish I could share with you the most,” Angeline shared in a tribute. “As I have always promised, I will continue to make you proud.”
