Angely Dub to sue condo owner for robbery incident: “There’s no CCTV in the hallways”

Access Travel chief executive officer Angely Dub expressed her fear disappointment over Amaia Skies Cubao for not having a CCTV on their hallway as she was robbed by still unidentified men in her condominium.

On her Facebook account, Angely posted the following:

“Please read very carefully because my place just got robbed on 35th floor of Amaia Skies Cubao and they don’t have no single footage of what happened because apparently they have no budget for cctv for our hallways according to them when the police asked them for it and if they had it I wouldn’t be doing this post- case solved.

Our families can’t go to visit but the thieves can just go in and out like nothing. 4 robberies in two weeks and we never got an email to alert us. Other people choose to stay quiet but I won’t, if I went home last night I could have been raped or killed without anyone knowing about it. Yes, I live alone, no yaya or anything.

Please share because this could happen to your daughters, partners, wives, kids or anyone when you’re not around to protect them.

A big residential establishment like this without cctv cameras? Really. Shame on all of you! I will sue all of you and make sure you pay everyone of us who lost our hard earned money because all of you are useless at what you do. Take note up to now no single call from the admin! You pay 3-6M to these greedy people to possibly get murdered and no can save you because they might be part of it anyway.”

Project development manager of Amaia Skies Cubao Raizel Matibag said the matter has been referred to the local authorities for proper investigation and Condo Corp has reached out to Angely.

Matibag added that the condo complied with all applicable laws and regulations, CCTVs are installed in all the required areas.

“Amaia will continue to extend assistance to the Condo Corp. in the resolution of this matter,” Matibag said.
