TV broadcaster Anthony ‘Ka Tunying’ Taberna expressed his thoughts and opinion over the call to delete online shopping app ‘Shopee’ after it announced that actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga would be their new brand ambassador.
In his vlog, Ka Tunying said that the call to boycott Shopee or to delete the app will not hurt the online shopping platform but the Filipino sellers or merchants.
“Wala kayong kadala-dala… yang boycott, boycott nyo na yan malaking kalokohan yan… at malamang tuwang-tuwa yung Shopee dahil sa inyong boycott call dahil marami nang Pilipino ang nabubuwiset diyan sa boycott, boycott i-style nyo na yan,” said Ka Tunying.
“Hindi pa ba kayo nakaka-move on sa matindi at kahiya-hiyang pagkatalo nung manok nyo? Dapat tapos na yun, tapos na. Gusto nyo ba habang panaho na lang tayong nag-aaway? Puwede ba tama na? Sinasaktan n’yo lang mga sarili ninyo.” Ka Tunying added.
