Actor Awra Briguela (Mcneal Briguela in real life) was released from police custody after posting a bail of Php 6,000.00 pesos.
Awra was charged of physical injuries and assault because of a brawl that happened in Poblacion, Makati City.
Awra was detained at the Makati Custodial Jail after a complaint was filed by a certain Mark Christian Ravana, a costumer at the Bolt Hole Bar where the scuffle allegedly happened.
Friends of Awra came to his defense saying he was actually protecting his friend from a group of men who allegedly wanted to sexually harass her.
Awra has yet to released an official statement as of this writing.
