Bea Alonzo’s transfer to GMA-7 has stirred a lot of comments from netizens who felt that her move is a sign of disloyalty to her mother network ABS-CBN. Bea was with the Kapamilya Network for around 20 years.
In her interview with Jessica Soho, Bea maintained that she made sure to asked permission from her past bosses before she made the decision.
“Gusto kong mag-focus ngayon sa positibo, and alam ko in my heart na I got the blessing of my past bosses. I know na wala akong tinapakang tao. And moving forward, yung mga nakikilala kong mga bagong tao sa bagong yugto ng buhay ko, they’re all excited,” said Bea.
“I’m very, very grateful sa lahat ng… lahat, lahat ng opportunities na ibinigay nila sa akin. I have ABS-CBN to thank for all the opportunities they have given me. They have trusted in me and they helped me hone my talent. And I will never forget everything that they have done for me.” Bea added.
“I am an actress. I am here to create. That is my purpose and that is my task. I owe that to my audience.” Bea said.
