Bea Alonzo speaks up on cancelled project with ABS-CBN: “nirespeto natin yung mutual decision na yun”

Actress Bea Alonzo expressed her honest thoughts and opinions as she talked about her cancelled project with ABS-CBN.

It can be recalled that Bea has been criticized by netizens over her network transfer. Many netizens also criticized Bea over the ‘unfinished’ project with ABS-CBN.

In a media event as the newest Kapuso star, Bea explained the reason why her project with ABS-CBN got cancelled. According to Bea, the cancellation of her show with the network was a ‘mutual’ decision.

“I was doing a soap for them. But then nagkaruon ng pandemic. And alam naman natin na maraming maraming pagbabago. So nagkaroon rin ng pagbabago sa story. And we came to a decision na hindi na lang matutuloy yung soap.” Bea shared.

“And talagang malaking malaking respeto ko sa ABS-CBN. Lalong lalo na rin sa production team nila…of course, nirespeto natin yung mutual decision na yun… and if I’m not mistaken, parang one year na akong walang soap na ginagawa and walang contract…” Bea added.

Bea also shared that it took her ‘many months’ to reach a decision to transfer with the Kapuso network.

“It took me many months… na pag-iisip, pag re-reflect ba, kung ano yung gusto kong gawin sa buhay ko. How do I move forward diba… tamang-tamang dumating yung offer ng GMA. And at that point, para bang ano, it just felt right.” Bea shared.

“Siyempre months of negotiations with SK. And when I finally met them, to be honest, sa Zoom natin, it just felt na I was at peace. Parang na feel ko na, ito yung final… I trust my intuition. I’ve always follow my heart. And now I follow my heart.” Bea added.
