Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez failed to make it to the Top 3 of the Miss Universe pageant 2021 ending her journey in the prestigious beauty competition.
Five beauties made it to the Top 5 namely Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu, Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane, Miss Paraguay Nadia Ferreira, Miss Colombia Valeria Ayos and Miss Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez.
Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu was named Miss Universe 2021.
During the Q&A portion, Beatrice was asked by Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere regarding her opinion about mandating universal vaccine passports.
“I believe that public health is everyone’s responsibility and to mandate vaccine and occulation is necessary. And if mandating vaccine passport would help us in regulating and the roll outs of vaccine and mitigate the situation of the pandemic today then I would agree on mandating the necessary passport of vaccination.” anwered Bea.
Filipinos praised and congratulated Bea for her achievement and said she remained to be their beauty queen.
