Actress Bela Padilla expressed her concern after a driver of ride hailing platform Grab announced where she lives on the ‘grab radio’.
On her Twitter account, Bela shared her experience after deciding to book a Grab car when the driver suddenly announced her address on what she referred to as ‘grab radio’.

The actress then gained responses from concerned netizens as one user wrote: “Hi there is no such this as grab radio, private group nila un most probably. Nevertheless this is inexcusable and the driver must be held accountable…pls report within app and I am sure @grabph will sanction the concerned driver..”
Another Twitter user wrote: “Bakit pag ako nag grab hindi nila ni raradio. ? Joke lang po. ?
Si Manong driver na excite siguro kasi na isakay ka nya at na kwento na kagad sa lahat kasamahan nya ng may buong pagmamalaki. ?
Pero dapat secret lang. ?”
Grab, meanwhile, immediately responded to Bela’s concern and wrote: “Hi Bela! We’re so sorry to hear about your experience 🙁 This incident shouldn’t have happened since we value every passenger’s safety and privacy. We sent you a DM to help move our investigation forward. Thank you!”
