Last June 2019, it was announced that Jmes Reid and Nadine Lustre will be teaming up to do the Korean horror-romantic comedy remake “Spellbound.” Fand and followers of the ‘JaDine’ loveteam got excited for they will see their idols together again.
But it seems the anticipated team up will not happen after all.

In an Instagram post, Bela Padilla and Marco Gumabao was seen participating in the story conference of the said project. The photos came with the following caption:
“Now happening: Story conference for #Spellbound with Bela Padilla, Marco Gumabao, and Direk Thop Nazareno”
This was the second time Bela replaced Nadine in a movie project, the first was the movie “Miracle in Cell No. 7” starring Aga Muhlach. It was reported that James and Nadine opted to focus more on their singing career as of the moment. Nadine just signed a contact with “Carless Music Manila” headed by James.
