TV host Bianca Gonzalez expressed her honest thoughts and opinions regarding Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas changing the design of the PHP1,000 bill.
It can be recalled that in the new design, the faces of the World War II heroes namely, Josefa Llanes Escoda, Vicente Lim and Jose Abad Santos will be replaced by an image of the Philippine eagle.
In her Twitter account, Biance expressed her disapproval in the said change of design. According to Bianca, it is important for us not to forget the said three heroes.
“Mahalagang hindi natin makalimutan ang kanilang mga buhay at kwento, hindi lamang sa mga libro sa eskuwelahan, pero sa mga araw na hawak natin ang pera na may mukha nila. Honor our heroes. No to changing the P1000 bill design.” Bianca wrote on her tweet.
