TV host Boy Abunda expressed his honest opinion over the engagement of his good friend, actress and TV host Kris Aquino with former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mel Sarmiento.
In an online media huddle for his podcast titled “Who Are You When No One’s Watching.”, Tito Boy was asked about his reaction over Kris’s engagement. According to Tito Boy, he is happy for Kris.
“I am happy about Kris’ engagement. I am happy because she is happy. I am happy because she is in a new chapter of her life.” Tito Boy shared.
Tito Boy also expressed his thoughts about Kris’s fiancé.
“I am happy because what I see on social media, I don’t know if I have met Mel in person, pero pareho kaming Waray. I hear nothing but good things about him, and that makes me happy. Because I know that he’s going to take care of my friend.” Tito Boy said.
“So that’s my reaction to that. We have not spoken about it yet because Kris and I agree, and I are hoping to be able to talk about it in person. Yung kwentuhan para mas masaya. I am happy for her.” Tito Boy added.
