Actor Buboy Villar opened up on the struggles that their family has experienced in the past as he recalled that time when he was a garbage collection at the age of 4 years old.
In actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga’s latest YouTube vlog, she featured Buboy for an interview. During the interview, Buboy talked about his relationship with his ex-partner, Angillyn Gorens.
It can be recalled that Angillyn and Buboy were blessed with two kids, Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael. However, news about his separation with Angillyn Gorens has circulated online last October 2020.
In the same interview, Buboy also recalled the time when he was a garbage collector at a young age.
“Hindi ako pwedeng mag expect na sa buhay ko na ‘to. Laging magaganda yung mangyayare. Kasi unang una sa lahat, thank God na, hindi ko akalain na magiging artista po ako eh. Kasi unang una galing ako sa pag babasura. Galing ako ng Cebu, sino bang aakalain na magiging artista ang isang basurero…” Buboy shared.
Toni can’t help but be surprise over Buboy’s statement as he clarified that he was indeed a garbage collector when he was still 4 years old.
“Basurero po talaga ako dati. Sumasama po ako sa tatay ko nuon… madaling araw palang bumabiyahe na kami sa Cebu. Umiikot na kami, kasi ang basura kasi, yung mga truck nun. Ang labas nila mga tanghali na, before lunch. So inuunahan na namin sila…” Buboy shared.
“Umaangkas na ako sa side car ng tatay ko. Kumbaga, umuuwe kami punung puno yung sidecar namin ng karton, lata. Ako yung taga ganun (crush) ng lata eh… ako yung tumatakbo sa kalsada tapos ginaganun (crush)…”
“Yun yung parang tinitingnan ko na panlaban ko sa buhay ko na parang, walang imposible sa buhay na ‘to basta’t gustuhin mo, mangyayari. At hindi mo man gustuhin, alam ni Lord kung anong mangyayari sayo eh…” Buboy added.
