Actress Carla Abellana stated that she wished celebrities are not required to be thin. It has been somewhat a standard that celebrities should look their best and be fit.
Carla also wished that that would compared less and love themselves more.
On Instagram, Carla posted the following:
“I also wish it didn’t have to be a requirement for us celebrities to be thin.
I wish we could compare ourselves less and love ourselves more 😌♥️
We live in a world where new insecurities are constantly implanted in people’s minds( especially women) making them feel that they’re less beautiful or just not enough according to the society standards!
I see women hating their bodies or parts of it because they do not match some fake ads and commercials that are made to instigate this very feeling in them😣
We all are a part of this and have felt this sometimes in our life, but the fact is that this is a never ending race!
And the more we feed our minds this kind of information, the deeper we get into the trap and the lesser grateful we become for this absolutely wonderful, magical and simply awesome human body god has blessed us with”
