ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak sent a strong message over the network’s shutdown. ABS-CBN was ordered to cease its operation as it failed to get a franchise renewal from Congress.
ABS-CBN celebrities posted on their respective social media accounts their sentiments now that the network shutdown marked it’s first year.
“ABS-CBN is not our franchise, not our transmitters, not our studios. ABS-CBN is found in the heart of every Kapamilya that chooses to serve the Filipino. ABS-CBN is you.
For so long as the passion to serve burns brightly in you, ABS-CBN will continue to be alive and well.” said Katigbak.
