Kapuso star Carmina Villarroel expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she shared what she will do if she doesn’t like the respective friends or partners of her twins, Kapuso stars Cassy and Mavy Legaspi.
In the ‘Wala Pa Kaming Title Podcast’ of Carmina with her good friends, actresses Candy Pangilinan, Gelli and Janice De Belen, they talked about the things that they would do if they doesn’t like the friends or partners of their respective children.
On Carmina’s part, she shared, “Ako kasi, whether pang-friends, pangkapitbahay, kaeskwela, kasi very open kami e. Kilala ko yung mga kaibigan ng mga anak ko. So pag nagkukwento sila or may nakita ako or na-witness ako, sinasabi ko right away. Na hindi ko siya type, kasi ganito.
Whether kaibigan or kapitbahay sinasabi ko agad. So sa case na ganun, pag sinasabi ko kaagad, hindi na yan makakaulet saakin. Pero just in case na umulet, pagsasabihan ko.”
When Gelli asked, “E paano kung girlfriend niya na?”
“Hindi ko nga siya matatanggap. Hindi ko siya matatanggap. Ano! Ako mag adjust sakanya? Ako mag adjust duon sa girlfriend?” Carmina admitted as her friends can’t help but laugh.
When asked if her twins introduced someone who she doesn’t know yet but has something ‘off’ on that someone’s personality,
Carmina said, “Sasabihin ko parin sa anak ko na parang may off… Kunware si Mavy, ‘Parang may off lang. I don’t know pa. I mean I don’t want to judge kasi I just met her. But you know naman me I’m so friendly, madali akong makipag-jive sa mga tao pero ito parang hirap ako makipag-usap. Why kaya?!’”
Carmina also shared that she trusts her kids and that is why she can give chances. Carmina also shared the importance to have a good relationship of every parent to their child.
“It’s really important din to have a close relationship with your kids… Kung paano mo sila pinalaki, yun yung makukuha nila na kind of friends or girlfriend… More or less ako feeling ko ha, this is my case ha, sa friends wala akong problema. Siguro nga dahil sa pagpapalaki namin, or sa guidance, or sa constant communication namin yung mga dapat iwasan…
Kasi you can choose your friends. You can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends. Parang siguro bago pa umabot sa gano’n. Yung foundation muna.Kasi you can choose your friends. Di ko sinasabing maging perfect kayo, pero alam nyo naman siguro kung ano ang right and wrong.” Carmina shared.
