Catriona Gray opens up about body shaming: “Bodyshaming is hurtful and should never be tolerated”

Reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray recently made it to the headlines after Thai beauty queen Coco Arayha Suparurk who was recently crowned as Miss Grand Thailand 2019 referred to her as “fat” in an Instagram post.

On her Twitter account, Catriona expressed her sentiments about body shaming after being asked by a netizen about her take on the issue.

Catriona wrote: “Bodyshaming is hurtful and shld never be tolerated. If anyone reading this too has been bodyshamed, I know how it feels. I’m sorry you’ve had to experience that. But knw that you are more than your appearance. You are a capable, unique and worthy person. And you are never alone.”
