Veteran actress Cherie Gil surprised and wowed her fans and followers as she showed off her bald look on her latest magazine cover.
In a series of posts on Mega Magazine’s Instagram account, they posted a photo and video of Cherie as she graced the cover of the said magazine on their 30th anniversary. In the said photo and video, Cherie looked stunning with her bald look.
In an article written by Mia Castro for Mega Magazine, Cherie revealed that she left Philippines as she moved to New York to be with her kids. Cherie also talked about her ‘rebirth’ as she opened up on her bald look. According to Cherie, she got rid of everything that symbolized her life before.
“I’m completely finding myself and coming to terms with who I really am. It’s just great to have this opportunity and to be alive to start over. It’s like a rebirth of sorts.” Cherie told Mega magazine.
“I won’t deny that I have gone to therapy and counseling. Years and years of doing that, I learned that it just boils down to doing the hard work on and with yourself by whatever means. What’s hair diba? It grows back. It’s symbolic to my personal growth. When a woman is in distress, she cuts her hair.” Cherie added.
