Actress Cristine Reyes can’t help but recall the horrible and traumatic typhoon “ondoy” experience amid the bad weather conditions.
In her Instagram account, Cristine shared a cryptic message that wrote, “she became strong by herself”. It appeared that the bad weather condition and the recent earthquake brought back bad memories to the beautiful actress.
According to Cristine, the said weather condition gave her anxiety as she recalled the devastating typhoon Ondoy that happened way back year 2009.
“Living on top of a building and then waking up with an earthquake made me jump out of my bed feeling so terrified.
This weather gives me anxiety. It reminded me of the devastating flash flood caused by typhoon “ondoy”. I have seen people got locked up trying to break their own windows and heard people screaming for help until you hear them no more..
some drowned and some like me was able to swim fast whilst assisting my precious little nieces, little sister and my mom. We all climbed up on the roof with baby snakes and rats dangling on my/our body. It was horrible and traumatic.
In times like this.. when you have no control of things around you. There’s only one thing I consistently do. I speak to HIM.
Bihira ako manalangin pero naiiyak ako kasi kahit minsan lang ako lumapit palagi siyang andyan. Palagi niya akong sinasamahan. Siya talaga ang sandalan nating lahat. 🤍” Cristine wrote in the caption.
