Dani Barretto has spoken up for her sister Julia Barretto who has been involved in a controversy as rumors about her alleged romantic involvement with actor Gerald Anderson have been making rounds online.
On her Twitter account which has been set on private, Dani defended Julia saying that her sister and Gerald are friends as they have worked together in a project.

Dani wrote: “Nag usap lang sa party, at may chismosang nag decide mag picture, cheating na agad? Bawal mag Hi sa isa’t isa? Bawal magkamustahan? Cheating na agad yun?! they worked together!! Of course they’re friends! PATI YUN BAWAL NA DIN?”
Dani also wrote in a separate post in response to a netizen who referred to a post claiming that Julia and Gerald went inside the same car: “Of course she will say that!!! Her photos can’t back up her allegationss! Have you seen the photos? There is nothing wrong with them. Its just two people talking. What is wrong about that?!”
