Daniel Padilla booed and called a ‘cheater’ during acceptance speech at AAA

Actors Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo were each awarded the “Fabulous Award” at the recently concluded Asia Artist Awards 2023.

Aside from Kathryn and Daniel, South Korean artists NewJeans, Stray Kids and Lim Young Woong were also given the same award.

“Thank you AAA. Everyone, maraming salamat sa inyo, enjoy the night and good night,” said Daniel, while some fans were booing and shouting cheater.

On the other hand, Kathryn said:

“Hello guys, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. I hope you’re having a great time. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Kathryn Bernardo and I am a Filipina actress.” started Kathryn.

“Wow, what an honor to be recognized tonight with these beautiful and talented people. Thank you so much AAA for this Fabulous Award. This is my first time attending this and nakakaproud na bilang Pilipino, tayo yung naghohost ng ganitong event.” Kathryn added.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank everybody for supporting Filipino-made TV series and movies. Patapos na yung taon but I feel so blessed and I am sharing this award to all of you. Maraming salamat and have a good night,” Kathryn said.
