Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla expressed his honest thoughts and opinions about marrying his girlfriend and onscreen partner, fellow Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla.
In ABS-CBN’s ‘2Good2gether’ special reunion with film directors Cathy Garcia Molina, Mae Cruz Alviar, and Olivia Lamasan, the celebrity couple opened up about their relationship as a real life couple and onscreen partners. In the said special reunion, Daniel and Kathryn also talked about marriage.
“Iyon na yung next chapter ng buhay namin… Ten years na kami rin…” Daniel shared.
When the film directors asked why the ‘next chapter’ is marriage, Kathryn shared, “Yun na yung mag si-seal sainyo direk e.”
“Iba yung kasal… After that, you build a house together, build a family together… Ako, kasi, direk looking forward na rin ako doon. Kasi, ano pa bang ano ko sa buhay ko? Twenty-seven na ako. Parang, What’s next sa aming dalawa ha?” Daniel shared.
Daniel also shared that they were already talking about marriage since they were still teenagers.
“Dati pa naman, 16 at 17 years old pa lang kami, pinag-uusapan na namin yan. Now, we’re here diba, ito na. What’s the plan after three or two years?” Daniel shared.
The celebrity couple also shared that their plans were being changed through the years.
“Nagmo-move, dapat 26…” Kathryn shared.
“Dapat 28, pero hindi pa pala yun, Pero ano na ako trenta ang usapan natin, hindi na ma-momove yun…” Daniel shared.
“You can’t say that to me, kasi pag marriage, dapat pareho tayong ready. Alam mong hindi pa tayo ready ngayon. Kailangan pa natin aralin ang buhay, kung paano.” Katryn laughingly said.
