Kapamilya star Darren Espanto expressed how grateful he is to celebrity couple Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi for their trust.
In an interview for ‘CinemaNews’ host by Bianca Gonzalez, Darren shared the story behind his viral ‘dalaw’ video that was shared by Zoren when he visited Kapuso star Cassy Legaspi at their house.
“Cute din ito, kasi Cassy’s dad, Zoren Legaspi posted a video of him spying on you and Cassy when you did visit their house. So anong kwento sa likod nung ‘dalaw’ na yun.”
According to Darren, he surprised Cassy as he visited her at their house.
“Yun po kasi ang tagal na naming hindi nagkikita ni Cass… Pagkagaling ko po ng Toronto for a show, the next day, hindi niya pa alam na nakarating ako… I went to their house kasi parang okay this is the day we’re both free so why not just surprise Cass… We just hang out kasi ang dami naming mga kwento siyempre sa isa’t isa… Yeah, just catching up.” Darren shared.
Darren also shared that he is always grateful to Carmina and Zoren for the trust that they are giving him.
“I always feel very shy everytime I go to their house. They’re very welcoming, sobrang grabe po yung hospitality ng mga Legaspi’s talaga everytime I’m there… I’m always very grateful po kasi they trust me enough, you know, allow me to go there kahit minsan sobrang last minute walang paalam po sakanila. Just being able to hang out with Cassy outside their house, stuff like that.” Darren said.
“Kasi iba po kapag may daughter ka, mas parang the tendency is to kind of ‘guard’ her more or have more restrictions. Pero I’m glad that tita Mina and tito Zoren trust me naman po.” Darren added.
