Actor Derek Ramsay finally broke his silence on the rumored rift between him and actor John Estrada.
In a phone interview with talent manager and broadcaster Ogie Diaz on his “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” YouTube account, Derek defended his fiancée, actress Ellen Adarna over the alleged ‘walking out’ incident on the last day of taping for TV5’s sitcom titled ‘John en Ellen’, starring her and actor John Estrada.
During phone interview, Derek also revealed that he and John are no longer friends.
“Totoo yung issue Derek na magka-away kayo ni John Estrada?” Ogie asked Derek.
“Hindi ko siya kaaway, hindi ko na siya, hindi ko siya kaibigan. Yan ang statement ko diyan. He’s no longer a friend of mine. Ayaw ko ng may kaaway eh. So for me, he’s no longer a friend of mine. I just don’t want to associate myself with John and this has nothing to do with ano, well nagsisinungaling ako kung walang kinalaman yung mga nangyare kay Ellen…” Derek shared.
“Ano nalang yun eh, yun nalang yung parang icing on the cake. Yun yung nag push na saakin na, ‘okay, enough is enough’….” Derek added.
Derek also shared that he and John had the chance to talk about the said issues.
“Yes, naramdaman niya po yung galit ko. And I think na-understand naman ni John kung saan ako nanggaling. In fairness to John, he was very apologetic about the experiences. Ayaw ko nang palakihin ‘to eh. Marami nang mga nangyari, sa show na yan, maraming nangyari kay Ellen sa show na yan.” Derek said.
“Ibigay k okay John, he was very apologetic sa mga bagay na nangyare. Pero there were certain things that was hindi ko na pwedeng tanggapin. It’s just for me, you go on with your life, I’ll go on with my life, I wish him well…” Derek added.
