Celebrity couple Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay made some revelations in the latest YouTube vlog of celebrated dermatologist and doctor to the stars Dr. Vicki Belo.
In the said vlog, Derek and Ellen opened up about their relationship. The celebrity couple also recalled the very first time that they met each other. In the same vlog, the celebrity couple also talked about Derek’s proposal as he opened up about the engagement ring that he gave to Ellen. According to Ellen, they were already talking about marriage even before the proposal happened.
“I didn’t know that we were going to get married. I just know I wanted to marry her… So I wasn’t assuming that she’d say yes.” Derek shared.
“Yeah he tell me, we talked about it… He told me three times before you really propose… we talked about it and then he’d tell me… mga three times…” Ellen shared.
Later on, Derek recalled the time when they suddenly talked about marriage and he shared that they were both uncomfortable about the said topic.
“I really didn’t want to get married.” Ellen said.
“Yeah she told me she was gonna be a matrona na, she’s happy…” Derek shared.
“Why didn’t you want to get married?” Vicky asked Ellen.
“I was traumatized… men….” Ellen admitted.
“After my last relationship I was like, yeah I’m happy that I’m not going to get married even though I want to because of my parents who have a perfect marriage…” Derek said.
“Yeah, I’m wondering why it’s taking you so long because usually when you have parents who have the perfect marriage…” Vicki quipped.
“I don’t want to make a mistake. It happens too often, people get together, they think they’re in love, they get married and then what happens, they end up suffering… so if it takes me 44 years at least I know when I make that decision, it’s the right decision…” Derek said.
