Actor Derek Ramsay addressed the rumors from the netizens that he gave a ‘recycled’ engagement ring to his fiancée, actress Ellen Adarna.
In an online interview with movie and television writer G3 San Diego for her online show “#LivewithG3”, she featured the celebrity couple. In the interview, they also talked about the engagement ring that Derek gave to Ellen.
“My mom was gonna give me a 7.8 carat to give to Ellen. So I was like ‘mom I can’t take that from you’.. and parang like… a 7 carat diamond is just way too big I think for an engagement ring… sabe ko no, I want to purchase this one, this diamond.” Derek said.
“I learned a lot about diamonds… and there’s a tsismis na pinag pasahan daw to ng mga exes ko.. which is so funny…” Derek added.
Derek also denied the rumors that he got the engagement ring through an X-deal agreement as he revealed that he paid it in full.
“Sa mga bashers na nagsasabe na pinag pasahan ko to neto, ehdi dapat nasa news ako na I was engaged na before diba… Yun nga, they said that his ring has been passed on to all my exes… and that’s so low… ” Derek said.
