Kapuso Star Dingdong Dantes celebrated her 40th birthday with a sweet message to honor his mother Angeline Dantes and his wife fellow Kapuso star Marian Rivera. In his Instagram account, Dingdong posted several photos of his mom and his wife. Photos with his mom when he was a baby and photos of Marian which appeared to be taken when she gave birth to their 2 children, Zia and Sixto.
He shared that his original plan for his birthday is to have a “Oktoberfest-themed”, 90’s rock, all-out party. But with the pandemic happening, his celebration turned out to be different. Even though it was not what he envisioned to be, Dingdong was still grateful for the blessings and his life’s greatest gifts.

“Today I turn forty.
It isn’t a day I imagined five months ago – definitely far from the supposed Oktoberfest-themed, 90’s rock, all-out party.
That was the plan.
But events may have not turned out the way I envisioned them to be, I’m still grateful because this day is a reminder of His blessings and my life’s greatest gifts.
Today, I honor my mother who brought me into this world. I had to have my own children to make me realize the sacrifices that our mothers do for us. She literally put her life on the line for me. So whenever I get a birthday greeting, I also celebrate her strength, love and commitment in raising a kulit boy like me.
Today, I also honor my wife who has been my rock and core. Building a family of my own and reaching milestones have been a blissful and contented journey because I have her as my partner in and for life. So whenever you greet me, I too laud her dedication, care and love for me and our children – who have brought so much meaning to our marriage and our lives.
And of course, today, I honor our Creator, who has made all things possible and surmountable for me all throughout these years. So, I welcome and embrace your well-wishes so that I can continue glorifying Him.
