Multi-awarded director Peque Gallaga passed away morninng of May 7, 2020 – He was 76. The news was confirmed by his brother Dr. Ricky Gallaga. Initial reports indicated that Direk Peque was admitted to a hospital due to complications arising from past health conditions.
Direk Peque is best known for his films such as Oro, Plata, Mata (1982) Scorpio Nights (1985) and Magic Temple (1996) and many more that earned him multiple awards during the span of his career.
