Star Magic at ABS-CBN entertainment production head Laurenti “Lauren” Dyogi admitted that he felt hurt when some Kapamilya artists decided to leave ABS-CBN to join other networks.
In an interview with actress Toni Gonzaga’s “Toni Talks”, Direk Lauren poured out his heart and expressed her sadness over the incidents.
“I suppose when the boat is sinking, you can’t expect everybody to stay in the boat, to stay with you. Huwag mo na tatanungin kung sino, ha. As I said, tao ako, masakit talaga. Especially doon sa mga taong kinausap ko na one, two, or three times. “Masakit talaga. And sana lang, ako kasi, from the onset, sabihin mo na lang na hindi mo kaya.” said Direk Lauren.
“Siguro, I suppose, if I am going to analyze it, siguro kasi dumadaan din siya sa proseso. Iniisip niya rin kung ano yung tama sa kanya. Hindi ko naman maalis sa kanya yun. Pero masakit talaga, masakit, masakit.” added Direk Lauren.
“But, I guess, hindi ko controlled yun. Hindi ko na controlled ang utak at puso ng ibang tao. May priorities sila. May priorities din naman kami. Hindi siguro nagtugma yung priorities at this point. We wish them well. I will wish them the best.” Direk Lauren said.
