Rhemuel Lunio, more popularly known as DJ Loonyo expressed his dismay as he called out “Tawag ng Tangahalan” Season 2 grand champion Janine Berdin for sharing a meme and making it a cover photo on her Facebook page.
It can be recalled that recently, Janine changed her Facebook cover photo with a screenshot of a meme to change the name of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to DJ Loonyo International Airport.
In DJ Loonyo’s Facebook page, he expressed his dismay as he shared a screenshot of the messages that he sent to Janine. In one of the screenshots, DJ Loonyo told Janine, “Ma’am sorry 🙏 May natitira pa po ba kayong respeto? may nagawa ba ako sayong mali?”
In another screenshot, Janine explained her side as she shared that she meant no harm and she admitted that she found the meme ‘super funny’. Janine also told DJ Loonyo that she can take down the post if he wanted to.
However, it appeared that DJ Loonyo is still unimpressed as he wrote, “Nakakatakot yung utak ng mga gantong tao 👎 Pag kayo ginanyan ISSUE, HEADLINE AND BASH AGAD. Katuwaan? Tapos binabash and pinagttripan yung taong involved? @janineberdin Ur better than that for sure. Godbless your soul. Weird shit.”
In the comment section, DJ Loonyo one again expressed his dismay.
“Kung wala kayong magawa, pagtripan niyo sarili niyo wag ibang tao. Maging sensitive tayo minsan, di natin alam pinagdadaanan ng isa’t isa satin. Ini-expect ko yung mga matagal na or kahit papano nauna sa industriya ay kahit papano alam ang “RESPETO NA LANG SANA”. Pero para katuwaan sigeeee, Go lang, kahit iba na yung napuntahan ng KATUWAAN. 👎 Weird shit!!!PANGALAN MO SAYO YUNG AIRPORT, Baka ikaw yung may gusto hindi ako. 😇” DJ Loonyo wrote.
DJ Loonyo also shared a screenshot of Janine’s response to him on her Instagram story. Janine wrote on her post, “Oh kuya, if you really wanna talk about it publicly… I really wanna know how you understood the meme… I just thought it was a petition to just literally change the name to you. It’s satire. It’s poking fun. It’s random.”
“No one would actually take it seriously. People use my name to poke fun all the time as well. Hell people talk shit and laugh at me as well. I’m not saying that’s what the meme was doing kasi it wasn’t meant to be degrading at all… but yeah! It’s what comes along when you’re a public figure. No big! Smile po kayo!” Janine added.
DJ Loonyo answered Janine’s post as he wrote, “Sige po ma’am ikaw na tama, Kahit pinagtatawanan, binabash, at nilalait na sa comment, KATUWAAN PARIN, grabe yung mindset. Ingat tayo ma’am, baka mag-boomerang yan sayo, Pinagdaanan ko na yan, nadapa, natuto at gino-goal mas maging better. Sana ganun din sayo, hindi yung pag walang magawa, ay manttrip ng iba 😇”
