Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque said his hard wrk and track record may be the reason why he continuously enjoy the trust and confidence of President Rodrigo Duterte. Sec. Duque has been criticized by different sectors of society for his supposed ‘inefficiency’ in handling the country’s COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
In an exclusive interview with CNN Philippines The Source, Duque thanked the President for his trust and confidence.
“Wala po akong magic potion, wala rin akong anting-anting. Siguro si Presidente, kaya ‘yung kanyang paniniwala sa akin, dahil alam niya, trabaho lang ako nang trabaho,” said Duque.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako kay Pangulong Duterte dahil sa patuloy niyang tiwala… Trabaho lang po,” added Duque.
