Nikki Bigornia, daughter of TV and radio broadcaster Doris Bigornia made an appeal to the public to help the family financially to cover the hospital expense of her mother.
Nikki posted a page on Gogetfunding.com that the family needed to raise PhP 1.5 million for Doris’ hospital expenses. As of this writing, a total of ₱239,100.00 has been raised.
Doris underwent open-heart/heart bypass surgery last February 25 and in God’s grace it was successful. Nikki added that Doris will undergo another operation as Doris needed to have a pacemaker to control and regulate her heartbeat.
Nikki made the appeal on Twitter by posting the following message:
