Actor and TV host Luis Manzano had a fun and emotional conversation with her father, fellow actor and TV host Edu Manzano.
In Luis’s latest YouTube vlog, he featured Edu as he asked several questions that he wasn’t able to ask before. During the interview, Luis and Edu had a great time as they had a heart-to-heart talk.
One of the questions asked by Luis was, “Did I ever do in the past that hurt you or made you disappointed?”
“You never disappointed me. I was very very happy because isa lang yung usapan natin nuon eh. I mean bata ka palang, may nakikitang, meron ka nang talento… Nuon pa man, maraming ng kumukuha sayo… ‘yung anak mo nga eh kwan, pwede ng kumita yan, gawin nating artista yan.’ Ako naman sinasabi ko lagi, ‘habang nag-aaral ka, kailangang mag tapos ka muna at kapag nakapag tapos ka na, bahala ka sa buhay mo.’” Edu said.
“Totoo yun, yun na nga ininstill saakin ni daddy ever since. Tapusin mo lahat bago ka pumasok sa kung anu ano…” Luis said.
Edu and Luis also can’t help but be emotional when Luis asked, “Are there things you wished na you have done differently as a father?”
“Oh yeah, oo, you know I realized na ang bilis bilis mong lumaki and you became so so busy but then I also learned na, you know hindi mo pwede nang ipilit yung sarili mo sa mga anak mo ang importante mabigyan mo ng tamang direction, ng isang matibay na pundasyon at kahit papaano eh mananatili ka lagi sakanilang isipan at puso…” Edu said.
“When you got very very busy, I started to miss you and it wasn’t like before… Actually, I didn’t see a need kung bakit kailangan pa akong makielam sa buhay mo kasi alam mo na kung anong dapat mong gawin. And whatever you did, you did it well. So, dun ang pride ko. Kaya sinasabi ko wala akong regrets because my son did it all and did it well…” Edu added.
